Who should do an escaperoom?
Escaperoom51 is ideal for adults, late teens and family groups - just about anybody who enjoys a mental challenge! There are things to find, puzzles to solve and padlocks to unlock. Whilst the room is designed for late teens or adults, younger kids normally have a lot of fun being part of a group as well! We do recommend that at least one player in the room be over 16 years old for some of the more difficult puzzles. Remember, there is a hint button in the room so the difficulty of the experience can be somewhat dictated by you! Escaperoom51 is also perfect for a team building exercise.
What should we bring?
Just yourselves and your enthusiasm.
How long does it take?
From start to finish it takes about 1.5 hours. The room itself takes approximately 60 minutes. We allocate 1 hr 45 minutes per session to let us set the room back up ready for the next group.
What happens if my group cannot solve the puzzles?
A hint button is provided in the room for you to use should your group be stuck and need some extra help to keep going.
What age group does this activity suit?
The activity as a whole is best suited for anybody in their late teens and above. Kids younger than this are certainly likely to have a great time, but may have some difficulty with some of the puzzles - so we recommend someone over 16 participate with them! This activity is not designed for very young children, but they may enjoy just coming along for the ride.
Will I be monitored?
Whilst in the room you will be continually monitored by our staff using cameras and microphones. This is to ensure we can provide appropriate hints for you along the way. You will not be recorded in any form.
Is the room scary?
This particular escape room is not designed to be frightening at all, however some aspects would scare small children.
What can I take into the room?
Just yourself. Everything you will need to solve the puzzles is in the room, we have a lockable cabinet for your valuables before you enter.
Can I leave the room at any time?
Yes. However once you have decided to exit the room we cannot allow you back in.
What happens if we do not get out in 60 minutes?
If groups do not manage to escape within their allocated 60 minutes, we generally offer them a few more minutes to complete the room or alternatively a member of our team will lead them through the challenges they missed. (NB. We may not be able to offer extra time if a group starts later than their allocated time and the next group is waiting).
